Why host your RDP in the USA
A US-located RDP gives you a stable US Windows environment and a US IP address that stays consistent whether your own device is on or off. That matters for traders running MT4/MT5 and expert advisors close to US brokers 24/7, for teams accessing US-based platforms and business tools, and for automation and e-commerce workflows that expect a US presence. Because the desktop lives in a data center on a 1 Gbps port with a 99.9% uptime target, your work keeps running around the clock instead of depending on your home connection. You get one dedicated US IP per plan — yours alone, not shared with other users.
What full administrator access actually lets you do
Full admin access means the machine is genuinely yours to configure, not a locked-down shared desktop. You can install any software, edit the registry, add or remove user accounts, start and stop Windows services, schedule tasks, open custom ports, and reboot the server whenever you need to. Most "USA RDP" listings assert "admin access" without saying what it unlocks — this is the difference between a desktop you can only browse on and one you can run trading bots, scrapers, custom tools or your own server software on. Every DigiRDP USA RDP plan, from the $7.99 entry tier up, ships with complete Administrator rights.
Hosting something rather than working in it?
A remote desktop is the right tool when you want to sit inside Windows and work. If what you need is a server to host something instead — a service that answers requests, an unattended bot, a small site or an API — a Windows VPS is the closer fit: the same full administrator control, sized for a workload that runs rather than one you watch. See the cheap Windows VPS plans, where every card states its vCPU, RAM, NVMe storage and price, so you can compare them directly against the RDP tiers on this page.

Location
Which US city should your RDP sit in?
Two different latencies matter in a remote session, and they rarely point at the same city.
Inside a remote desktop session two different latencies matter, and they rarely point at the same city. How responsive the desktop feels is set by the distance between you and the server. How quickly an order, an API call or a page request completes is set by the distance between the server and whatever it is talking to. Choose the city that optimises the leg your work actually depends on, because you cannot change it after the server is built.
- East Coast — New York. The shortest path to most US brokers, market data feeds and East Coast business platforms, and the lowest round trip back to Europe. This is the default for trading terminals and expert advisors. See New York RDP.
- Central — Dallas or Houston. The best compromise when your traffic is spread across the whole country rather than aimed at one coast: central hubs carry strong peering in both directions, so no region is badly penalised. See Dallas Private RDP or Houston Premium RDP.
- West Coast — Los Angeles. For West Coast services, and for anything that also has to reach across the Pacific. See Los Angeles RDP.
How to check a location before you order
Do not take a published latency figure on trust. Run a ping and a traceroute from our Looking Glass to the host your workload talks to — that is the measurement that decides the outcome, and it takes a minute. For MT4 and MT5, the broker latency matrix lists measured round trips per broker from each of our locations, so you can pick the site rather than guess at it. You can also check the facility itself on our data centre page.
Keep the two legs separate when you read the numbers. Your own connection to the server affects only how the session feels while you type and scroll; it has no bearing on how fast your software reaches its target. A fast server on a weak home link feels sluggish while still executing normally, and that is the single most common misreading of an RDP latency complaint.
If the service you target is nationwide, or simply not latency-sensitive — remote administration, document and accounting work, browser automation, long-running scripts — the city barely matters. Pick on specifications instead: every plan listed above ships the same full-administrator Windows build and one dedicated US IP address.
IP type
Datacenter US IP or residential US IP?
Which address type your workflow needs, and how to tell the difference before you order.
Every plan above includes one dedicated US IP address on a hosting range. For most work that is the correct choice and the better value, but it is worth knowing precisely where it stops working, because the failure looks like a performance problem and is not one.
IP intelligence services classify every address block as either commercial hosting or consumer ISP. A hosting address is stable, clean and openly identifiable as a server — which is exactly what you want for remote administration, development and testing, trading terminals, file work, internal tools and any site that does not screen on IP type. Some consumer-facing US platforms deliberately score hosting ranges down: survey and offer panels, parts of the advertising and social account ecosystem, some marketplaces and some streaming catalogues. On those, a hosting IP produces repeated verification prompts, captcha loops or an outright refusal. More CPU, more RAM and a faster port change none of it. It is an address problem, and the only fix is an address that sits on a consumer ISP range.
Stay on the dedicated datacenter IP when
- You need a US Windows desktop that runs when your own machine is off.
- Your software talks to brokers, APIs, your own servers or ordinary websites.
- You want the most CPU, RAM and disk for the money — residential address space costs more to supply, so a hosting plan buys more server at the same spend.
Move to a residential IP when
- A platform you must use rejects or repeatedly re-verifies you, and the same work succeeds from an ordinary home connection.
- Your workflow is account-based and needs one consistent US identity over months rather than a fresh address each session.
What to confirm before ordering a residential plan
Ask four things, and ask them before you pay. Is the address static, or drawn from a rotating pool? Is it yours alone or shared with other tenants, whose behaviour you inherit? Which ISP and region does it geolocate to? And do you keep full Administrator rights, so you can install the tooling the work needs? After delivery, run an IP lookup from inside the session itself rather than trusting what the order email says.
Our residential options are US Real Residential RDP and US Real Residential VPS, with the full range on the Residential RDP page.
