Numbers are 7-day averages of hourly RTT samples from each DigiRDP node to each broker's broker-server IPs. Individual results vary slightly with broker load and your trader-account shard. Verify any row live at our looking glass.
What does sub-1ms latency actually mean?
Sub-1ms means your VPS sits inside the same data centre / cage / row as the broker server, so the network round-trip is below the 1-millisecond threshold. For news scalping and tick-arbitrage strategies, this is the difference between a fill and a requote.
My broker is not in the list. Can you check it?

Why is UK best for so many brokers?

Network paths are stable but brokers occasionally migrate between data centres (e.g., adding NY4 capacity). We re-run measurements monthly and update this page; the "Measured" date at the top reflects the latest sweep.
Can I run the same ping from my home computer?
You can, but home broadband adds 30-200ms of last-mile latency that a VPS doesn't have. The numbers in this matrix reflect VPS-to-broker latency, which is what your EA actually experiences when running on the VPS.
