The economics of a SaaS stack on DigiRDP

A typical SaaS starting stack — API server, background worker, Postgres, Redis, a simple load balancer — needs 2–4 VPS. On AWS the equivalent is $150–300/month with bill surprises when a worker spins up extra capacity. On DigiRDP it's $25–50/month flat.

DigiRDP is the right fit for SaaS between seed and Series A — when you need production-grade infra but don't yet need multi-region failover, managed Kubernetes, or enterprise SLAs. The simple mental model: one VPS per service, one config per environment, nothing that surprises the CFO.

What you get that AWS doesn't make easy

Predictable bills: Your monthly invoice is the same every month. No Kubernetes autoscaler filling a cache line and billing you $400 by Monday.

Real dedicated CPU: AWS t3 burstable = throttled under load. DigiRDP dedicated vCPU = consistent performance.

Snapshots + backups: One-click snapshot pre-deploy, rollback in 30 seconds if the release breaks.

Crypto + INR billing: Useful for international team payouts and Indian-market customers.

Frequently asked questions

Is DigiRDP a serious alternative to AWS / GCP / Azure?
For small-to-medium SaaS (up to ~10 servers, no managed K8s requirement) — absolutely. For billion-request-scale, multi-region auto-failover, or AI training workloads, stick with hyperscalers.
Do you have a REST API for provisioning?
On the Q2 2026 roadmap. For now, order via the client area — but Infrastructure-as-Code via Terraform provider is coming.
Can I run Kubernetes?
Managed K8s isn't offered yet (Q4 2026 roadmap). For now run K3s yourself on 3+ DigiRDP VPS — small cluster ~$50/month.
What about managed databases (Postgres/MySQL/Redis)?
Not yet — self-managed on a dedicated VPS for now. Managed databases on Q3 2026 roadmap.
Is there SSO / SAML for team accounts?
Not yet — Q2 2026 roadmap. For now share a team master-account with separate sub-users.
Can I get enterprise SLA commitments?
Standard SLA is 99.9%. Higher SLAs (99.95%+) with service-credit structures available on custom enterprise contracts — open a ticket.
GDPR / data residency?
EU customers hosted in Germany/Netherlands/France DCs are GDPR-compliant. DPA available on request.
What about cost anomaly alerts?
Not needed — flat pricing means there are no anomalies. Your bill is predictable.
